DIRECTOR'S NOTES

 

I had been dying to direct a music video with some grit and kinectic handheld cinematography. 

So when Sheffield lads, Idle Noise, dropped me a message out of the blue with their punk infused upcoming single 'Rapture', I couldn't wait to capture their spirit, channeling the 1970s UK punk aesthetic into their debut video.

A simple shoot with myself on cinematography and directing duties, the band ripped through 25 takes of 'Rapture' pretty much without stopping. That determination and raw energy is what I love most about this project. Years later it's still a favourite.
